Mark Counihan – Album Artwork
This is album artwork we created for singer/song-writer and musician, Mark Counihan. The brief was to use the wooden boat, which he had found and photographed, and apply it to a very dramatic background. The photograph wasn’t doing the idea justice – we tried a few other applications and settled on a low-poly abstract facet approach to the boat and water. This together with a dramatic yet soft cloud image, made the boat appear to ‘pop-off’ of the picture.
